The Anatomy of the Heart was painted by Angelica Mora (Moraisdrawing) in September 2017 and features a beating human heart but instead of human tissue, this heart is made of panthers, mountains, leaves, flowers and a whale.
Angelica said about her work:
The anatomy of the heart is a mixture of those wild things our hearts feel, the strength and agility of the feline, the energy of the volcano, the serenity and beauty of the whale, courage, fears, hate and love.
