Dissection was painted in February 2018 by artist Zeke’s Lunchbox and is a surrealist work featuring a blue-faced horned woman whose snake-like tongue extends to a moth. The woman is surrounded by various species of coloured mushrooms which also grow through the skin of her face.
The moths and mushrooms/fungi are symbols of death and decay which juxtapose with the vivid colours of the piece.

We asked Zeke’s Lunchbox about the piece and she said:
The artwork is inspired by Aeon Flux, singularity and decay. The medium is acrylic.
