This mural of three bearded zombie hipsters was painted in October 2015 by Ayla the Caveman – and at least one of them survived until well into 2017.
When asked what inspired “Bondi Madness” Ayla replied
Um I don’t really remember what inspired Bondi Madness. Although I will say this it was definitely a hot summers day. I think it had to do with one day when I went for a surf and it was so crowded. It was probably complete madness but I was still hypnotised by the beauty of Bondi regardless. It really is a place like no other.
