This piece was painted by artist Bruno Mota in September 2019 and features the prow of a boat approaching a beach lined with tropical palms.

We asked Bruno about his inspiration and he said:
This mural was inspired in one of my trips to Thailand.
The long-tail boats was the way most of tourist use to go visit the paradise Islands in Thailand. The image on the mural was my interpretation of the exact moment I arrived in the beautiful Hong Island, Krabi, where I could see the crystal and blue water, the white sand and the vast palm trees around the island.
With this mural I want to the viewers feel the same vibe that I felt there and interact with the artwork.
Also bring some bright and vibrant colours to the summer in Bondi Beach.
I used acrylic paint to do the mural as I normally do.
