This piece was painted in February 2017 by Martin Nester. Martin painted an element of Mount Banks in the Blue Mountains, into the contrasting Bondi Beach Sea Wall.
Martin said of the piece:
By placing an image from the Blue Mountains in Bondi Beach, a cycle of visitation will be completed. Many people have visited both places. In doing so, they have physically and mentally left part of themselves on both spaces, connecting and marking both the spaces and themselves.
