Inspired by the beauty of the coastline and her home, artist Jennifer Lia’s vibrant and
energetic works celebrate the beauty of Sydney’s iconic coastline.
Growing up on Sydney’s idyllic beaches and after completing a Bachelor of Fine
Arts, Honours at COFA, UNSW, Jennifer explored a series of abstract and
gestural coastal works.
Her unique style and refined colour palette of crisp aqua and turquoise has the
power to transport the viewer directly to the pools of Bondi’s famous Icebergs –
Jennifer’s signature painting. With a glance, you can feel the sun beating down,
breath in the fresh sea air while her signature stark pool lanes entice you to dive
into the fresh aqua in the pools below.
Jennifer is a strong believer in the transformative essence of art and seeks to
create a multi-sensory experience for the viewer through immersing the eye in an
intensity of colour and instilling notions of travel, familiarity and calm throughout.
In demand for her personalized commission works, her coveted pieces have
been featured in Virgin Voyeur Magazine, My Domaine, Huffington Post with
collectors across the globe.
Jennifer has been invited to exhibit at ‘The Other Art Fair’ Sydney and Melbourne
and recently exhibited in New York.
