This piece was painted in winter 2019 by artist Quentin Celeste and features a Saint in a 70s sweater, flares and platform shoes holding a Surfboard – surrounded by tropical objects.
We asked Quentin about the inspiration behind his work – he said:
This mural was a big challenge for me as it is the first one with that size and complexity, but I really wanted it to look exactly like the design on my computer – so I spent 9 days on it. I wanted to do something that represents my work and fits with the Bondi vibes as well. My focus was playing with different colours that I am not used to, and precise shapes, I wanted the final render really clean.
