Street art has always been a part of Bondi’s youthful and vibrant identity with many major street artists living and working in Bondi. The Beach Graffiti Wall / Sea Wall / Community Wall is an evolving site where artists are welcome to leave a temporary mark on Bondi Beach.

About this website

This website has been put together to give some background to the artwork that exists on the Bondi Beach Graffiti Wall / Sea Wall / Community Wall – as there wasn’t another resource available and the art comes and goes so frequently.

We have (as best we can) assembled details of:

  • The artwork currently on the wall
  • The historical artwork that has been painted over
  • The artists who have been involved.

If any of the details are incorrect then please let us know.

Applying to paint the wall

You need to seek permission from Waverley Council to paint the wall – the guidelines and application form are available on their website:
