ELK and Kaff-eine painted this piece on 4th October 2016 – it’s a political piece featuring a capitalist pig with his finger on the button and his ‘bitch’ wife whose scarf is made of the faces of Syrian refugees.
Kaff-eine describes the inspiration as:
we were chatting about international politics, and came up with what we thought was a pretty accurate representation of the current situation; a fat capitalist pig with his trotter over the war button, and his bitch wife with a Syrian child-skin cloak. Pretty confronting, but then again so is the situation in international current affairs and politics!
This piece wasn’t council-approved – so it might not be up for long.
