2016 – Icebergs

This piece was painted in August 2016 by artist Bruno Mota and features the Bondi Icebergs pool bursting from a tropical scene.

We asked Bruno about the inspiration behind his work and he said:

This mural was inspired in the Iconic Bondi Icebergs Club. It is Located at the southern end of the famous Bondi Beach and it is an international landmark. No trip to Sydney is complete without a visit to the pool and clubhouse.

The Iceberg Club was my first stop when I visited Bondi Beach 4 years ago and it was one of the first painting I did in Australia.

It is an abstract landscape that you need a few seconds to see the figure out that is the Iceberg club. The bold and bright colours is to bring all the vibe and happiness that you can find at this beautiful place.
