Boondi Boondi was painted in September 2017 by artist Stef2026 and features a humpback whale breaking through the surf.
We asked Stef about the inspiration behind the work and she said:
The wall I made for Bondi Beach is an acknowledgement of the beautiful mammals of the ocean we love seeing from the shore of Boondi Boondi. It is made with an outdoor water base paint and brushes.
